 | Tenerife, being located close to Africa, is drenched in sunshine all year round.
We arrange our training camps in the coastal resort of Los Cristianos using their 8 lane 50 metre outdoor swimming pool.
Los Cristianos is situated 15km west of the southern airport (Reina Sofía) and is one of the most popular resorts on the Canary Islands.
The pool is available from November through to May. |
Training Times available:
Monday - Friday: 3 lanes available from 07.30 until 11.30 and 3 lanes from 14.30 until 16.30 and from 19.00 – 21.00.
Saturday & Sunday: 3 lanes from 09.00 until 11.00.and 3 lanes from 15.00 until 17.00
Teams will stay in the 3* Hotel Oro Negro which is just 10 minutes from the pool on a full board basis.

The Tops Training Centre in Tenerife, known as T3, is a brand new state of the art sports complex built in La Caleta in the southern corner of Tenerife,
Just 30 minutes from Reina Sofia Airport and close to Playa de Las Americas, the sports centre boasts a 10 lane 50m pool, an adjacent 25m pool, swim specific gym, sports science centre, and swimming flume. In addition it has a full sized grass training pitch and many other amenities for a number of sports.
Teams will stay in the nearby Jardin Caleta Aparthotel which is just a 15 minute walk from the sports complex.
The three star hotel is just 200 metres from the beach and comprises of 244 apartments, including eight suites and 12 studios. The facilities at the aparthotel include a restaurant, two bars, two pools, tennis, table tennis, and more.
The town of La Caleta is close by where guests can find a wide selection of bars and restaurants.

Puerta de la Cruz Tenerife |
Sports Abroad organise training in Puerta de la Cruz. in the north of Tenerife. Puerta de la Cruz is one of the major tourist destinations on the island.
We can offer teams 3 lanes from 0800-0100 and 1400 - 1600.
The town has an 8 lane 50 metre outdoor heated swimming pool which is
available all year round.
The pool is located on the seafront and just
2 minutes walk from the main beach.
Teams will stay in the Aparthotel Tenerife VING which is just 5 minutes from the pool. The complex comprises of 122 apartments on 7 floors. Amongst the hotel's facilities a café, a small supermarket, a pool, a bar, a games room, a restaurant, and a conference room.
Transfers can be arranged from both Tenerife North (Los Rodeos TFN) which is just 30 minutes away or from Tenerife South (Reina Sofia TFS) which is 60 minutes away (supplement from Tenerife South)
