The
Rio Maior Olympic Training Centre is located just one hour from the
nations capital city, Lisbon. The training centre has everything on site
including a 10 lane Olympic sized swimming pool, gym, athletics
stadium, football pitches and more.

The centre has hosted the
Portuguese National Swimming Championships on many occasions and
teams will stay within the grounds of the complex providing an ideal
setting for a training camp. We always receive excellent feedback from
this facility.
Sports Abroad will organise all elements of the camp including transfers from Lisbon International Airport.
Browns Club, Vilamoura, Portugal |
 | With sunshine almost all year round, Vilamoura provides a perfect environment to hold a warm weather training camp for any sports team. Located in the Algarve region of Portugal, the tourist resorts of Vilamoura and Quarteira offer a variety of entertainment. Amongst the many attractions are a number of world class golf courses, a large Marina, numerous 5 Star and 4 Star Hotels, night clubs, shopping and more. Nestled within the resort of Vilamoura is the excellent Browns Club, a purpose built sports training centre ideal for visiting sports teams. |
| Browns is located approximately 3 km from the sea and is surrounded by a number of golf courses and adjacent to a golf academy Teams will stay within the grounds of the club with either in bungalows or villas. All units are tastefully furnished and have cooker, fridge, microwave, air conditioning, TV, and telephone. |  |
|  | Guest at Browns can use other facilities free of charge, including swimming pools, a relaxation suite, a cross country running track, a full-size sand pitch, and a 5-a-side all weather pitch. A purpose built gym is also available for exclusive hire. |
We arrange swimming training camps using the brand new indoor pool in Quarteira. This excellent pool has 8 lanes of which two lanes can be extended to 50m. The pool also has a number of pace clocks, anti wave lane ropes, flags, starting blocks and also a gym.

The pool is a short 5 minute drive from the Brown's resort but all transfer arrangements are included in the package.
Faro Airport is easily accessible from most UK airports using a number of no-frills, scheduled and chartered airlines. Sports Abroad will arrange all of your training and accommodation requirements along with your airport transfers to the Brown's Club and any optional excursions.
3 Star Loulé, Algarve, Portugal |
 | The swimming complex in Loulé boasts a 50 metre outdoor pool, which is open from May to September, and a 25 metre indoor pool, which is open all year round.
There is also a diving pool, gymnasium, sauna and Jacuzzi.
The complex is a regular venue for competitions and hosts the annual International Swimming Meet of Loulé that attracts some of the finest swimmers in the world. |
Teams will stay at the 3* Loulé Jardim Hotel, which is approximately 10–15 minutes walk from the swimming complex.
This new hotel is situated in the old part of Loulé, facing a pleasant park. The hotel has 52 rooms with air conditioning, and satellite TV.
There is a terrace swimming pool with a pool bar on the 3rd floor, which has wonderful views over the town and coastline. |
