We now have two excellent options in Majorca, the largest of the Balearic Islands.  Teams can choose to hold camps in Palma, the capital of the island,  or at the brand new BEST Training Centre in Colonia de Sant Jordi

As official agents, Sports Abroad are now helping to promote the brand new BEST training centre in Colonia de Sant Jordi which is located in the south east corner of the island.

The BEST Centre is a perfect site for swimming training camps.  The site has an outdoor 10 lane 50m pool with the opportunity to use the on-site video cameras installed within the underwater viewing windows for stroke analysis.  Located within the main building is a gym, changing rooms with full disability access, a meeting room, office and a lounge with internet terminals and Wi-Fi access.

The centre is just a short walk from a choice of hotels and some of the most stunning beaches on the island.

Son Hugo was the site of the 1999 World University Games, the 2001 European Masters Championships and the 2006 European Junior Championships.



The facility comprises of two 10 lane 50m pools, one indoor and one outdoor. There is also a diving pool, fitness studio and a gym.

Teams will say at the excellent Hotel Costa Portals in the upmarket area of Portals Nous. We have developed an excellent relationship with the hotel and they are very happy to accommodate all the requests of our swimming groups.
