Sports Abroad are always looking for new destinations to offer to our swim teams. Before we launch any new location, we thoroughly research each option and negotiate the best rates for facility hire, accommodation and transfers.

RIJEKA, CROATIA

Rijeka is located on the Adriatic coast of Croatia. The city houses a brand new swimming complex which hosted the 2008 European Short Course Swimming Championships. The centre is one of the best swimming sites in Europe. The main indoor pool is 50m which can be split into two 25m pools.

Teams will stay in the nearby coastal town of Opatija where there is a choice of over 20 hotels. The airports of Trieste, Zagreb and Ljubljana are only 1.5 hours away but Ryanair fly direct into Rijeka.
