SPORTS ABROAD SWIMMING TRAINING CAMPS - CYPRUS
We offer a great choice of locations in Cyprus. Teams can choose to hold their training camp in the village of Coral Bay using the 5* facilities of the Coral Beach Hotel and Resort, or alternatively, can stay at the 3* Louis Phaethon Beach Hotel in Kato Paphos and train at the excellent Yeroskipou Sports Centre.

The exclusive 5* Coral Beach Hotel &
Resort can be found in the upmarket area of Coral Bay
which is located on the west coast of the island and just 20 minutes from Paphos. The resort was the official
training venue for the Great Britain Olympic team prior to the 2004 Athens Olympic Games in Athens and is now regularly used by numerous National and club teams from all over Europe.

The hotel's 50m outdoor Olympic Pool is built within the grounds of the resort and is only used by visiting teams and professional athletes. The pool is open all year round and heated to 28 degrees.

Teams can use a number of areas for land training. In addition to the hotel gym, groups can also use a private swim specific gym for a small supplement. There is also plenty of space around the hotel for team exercise.

The hotel offers a choice of rooms from single occupancy to duplex rooms suitable for 5 people. All rooms have private en-suite facilities with a bath and shower along with air conditioning, direct dial telephones, satellite TV, mini-bar, safe, hair dryers and a balcony or terrace. |  |
There are four restaurants offering varied menus
from buffet style to an a-la-carte service. As the hotel has hosted many
sports teams, food is focussed on the nutritional needs of an athlete.

Yeroskipou is a coastal town situated 5 minutes drive east from the centre of Paphos.
Teams will stay at the 3* “superior” Louis Phaethon Beach Hotel which has just undergone a huge renovation project (2011). The hotel, located on the beach front, is ideal for sports teams and only a short 10 minute walk from the Yeroskipou Sports Centre.

The local sports centre boasts an excellent heated 10 lane 50 metre swimming pool which forms part of a larger complex with an athletics track and a number of football pitches.
Swim sessions are available throughout the day and teams can choose to use the poolside, athletics track, beach or hotel gym for land training.

The Louis Phaethon Beach Hotel is known as one of the best club hotels
in Cyprus.
All rooms are en suite, with a private balcony, air conditioning, telephone, radio, satellite TV, hairdryer and a safety deposit box. The hotel also benefits from having a large equipped gym, sauna, jacuzzi, steam bath, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, tennis courts, a basketball court, bowls, badminton courts, and facilities for beach volleyball. |
