Mataró is just 30 minutes north east of Barcelona, with a large sandy beach, marina and promenade.
The beaches in Mataró are often less crowded than other tourist resorts in the area.
Training camps are organised at the Centre Natacio Mataró. The sports centre boasts an 8 lane (split into 10 lanes of 2m) 50m outdoor heated pool which is located on the beach and also houses a fully equipped gym.
There is also an indoor 25 metre pool, a gym, tennis courts and an activity hall that can be used for physical training.
