The coastal town of Lloret de Mar, which is located just 30 minutes from Gerona and an hour from Barcelona, opened their 10 lane 50m indoor Olympic pool in February 2014.

Lloret enjoys mild temperatures all year round which makes it an ideal choice for a warm weather training camp.

Everything is within easy walking distance. The Evenia Resort where teams will stay is opposite the swimming facility.

Lloret is now recognised as a first class multi-sports destination thanks to their superb sports zone in the town centre.

The Olympic pool is part of a larger sports facility with football pitches and athletics facilities.

Resort Accommodation

L’Azure Hotel

With a central location and within 5 minutes from the sports centre and a 10 minute walk from the beach

The 4* Superior L’Azure is a new hotel located just a few minutes’ walk away from the sports facilities. The hotel offers a variety of rooms with air conditioning, satellite TV safety deposit, mini fridge and a private balcony.

There are a selection of swimming pools to choose from including the main pool, heated pool, vitality pool and a rooftop infinity pool. Daytime and evening entertainment is available, as well as a gym and fitness area and FREE Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. The on-site spa features a sauna, Jacuzzi and on-request treatments

The hotel is centrally located with the beach a short 10 minute walk away.

Evenia Resort

Opposite training facilities and 500 metres from the beach

The Evenia Resort is located across the road from the Olympic pool and is set within extensive gardens. The complex consist of a number of hotels with no fewer than six swimming pools – four of which are heated*.

There is also the “Olympic Sport Club” on-site which is a modern sport centre equipped with a fitness suite, spinning room, weights, aerobics, squash courts, and cardiovascular activities. In addition there is also a spa area where you can indulge in a variety of treatments.

The resort is located in a quiet residential area of Lloret de Mar, just 500 meters from the beach and the town centre. There is a choice of single, twin, triple and quadruple rooms all of which are equipped with a 32″ flat screen TV, air conditioning, a safe, phone and a balcony.

*Please note some pools are only open May – September.
