The BEST Centre is located in the south east corner of Majorca in the beautiful resort of Colonia de Sant Jordi and just 45 minutes from Palma airport.

Colonia de Sant Jordi is one of the prettiest towns in Majorca with some of the finest beaches on the island. The original fishing harbour still exists where you can catch a ferry each morning over to the island of Cabrera, a tiny rocky island which was designated a National Park in 1991.

The BEST centre is a perfect location for a swimming training camp. There is a heated outdoor 10 lane 50m pool and a swim specific gym on-site. There is also a coaches meeting room and a lounge with full Wi-Fi access.

In addition to being a popular choice for numerous national and club swimming teams, the BEST centre is also a favourite with triathletes who have access to a variety of running trails and bike hire.

Blau Colonia Sant Jordi

Located next to the training facilities

The Blau Colonia Sant Jordi is a 4 star luxury hotel located next to the BEST swim centre.

This stunning hotel boasts 192 double rooms and 203 family suites with a choice of single, twin or triple rooms all with free WiFi and LCD satellite TV. Safety deposit boxes can be hired for a small fee.

There are so many features to this hotel. Built on 8 hectares of land with tranquil gardens and fountains, the property offers 2 large restaurants, 2 indoor pools, 2 outdoor pools and a spa. There is also a gym, a number of clay tennis courts and a regular evening entertainment. Check-in is at 1500 hours and check-out 12 noon. The hotel is half-board (without drinks) and for lunch there are many cafes, supermarkets and shops nearby.

THB Sur Mallorca

Short walk to the training facilities.

The THB Sur Mallorca hotel is just 10 minutes walk from the BEST training centre and close to some of the
most stunning beaches on the island, including Es Trenc and Es Carbó.

This “All Inclusive” hotel is popular with our clients and has a choice of single, twin and triple rooms all with spectacular sea views.

Outdoor there is a large pool, snack bar and a sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols. There is also a seasonal entertainment programme during the day and in the evenings to keep everyone happy.

Romantica Hotel

500 metres from the beach

Romantica Universal Hotel in Colonia Sant Jordi has 245 rooms, spread over 6 floors. The hotel is located 500 m from the sandy and rocky beach. The closest city to the hotel is LLucmajor (30 km). Other cities: Manacor (40 km), Palma (53 km). To make your stay more comfortable a reception, a conference room, air conditioning, a lobby, a lounge and 2 elevators are available. WiFi is free throughout the hotel and safety deposit boxes can be hired for a small fee. Check-in is 1500 hours and check-out 1200 noon.

* If training on an early schedule both Breakfast and Lunch can be arranged to suit your swimming times.

Bluewater Hotel

A short walk to the beach and training facilities.

The Bluewater is a 32 room hotel located in a quiet residential area of Colonia de Sant Jordi.

This small hotel is just a few minutes walk from the Best Centre training complex in one direction and 5 minutes from the beach in the other direction.

Owned by the BEST centre, there is a choice of single, twin, triple and quadruple rooms. There is also an outdoor pool, which is surrounded by tended gardens and a large patio area. There is free WiFi in the rooms and Safety Deposit boxes are available for a small fee.

Breakfast: 0800 to 1000 *
Lunch: 1300 to 1400
Dinner: 1900 to 2100

* If swimming at 0700 snacks can be provided before training and then return for full breakfast afterwards.

Water is included with all meals which are served as a buffet.

Please Note the Majorcan Government charge a tourist tax (for anyone over 16) which must be paid for upon check-in.
