We arrange swimming camps in the coastal resort of Los Cristianos which is situated 15km west of Tenerife South Airport.

Los Cristianos is one of the most popular holiday destinations in the Canaries. Visitors from all over Europe flock to the resort as it is home to the best beaches on the island and has an attractive fishing harbour.

We arrange training camps using the 8 lane 50 metre outdoor swimming pool located at the local municipal sports centre.

The pool is available for visiting teams from November through to May but does book up very quickly as only 3 lanes at any one time can be reserved. The training times available are:

Monday – Friday: 3 lanes from 07.30 – 11.30, 3 lanes from 14.30 – 16.30 and 3 lanes from 19.00 – 21.00.

Saturday & Sunday: 3 lanes from 09.00 – 11.00 and 3 lanes from 15.00 – 17.00.

All year round warm climate with average temperatures around 23 - 27°C

Local language is Spanish but English is widely spoken.

Resort Accommodation

Hotel Zentral Center

Close to beach & resort centre. 20 minutes walk to training facility.

Hotel Zentral Center is located in a quiet area of Playa de Las Americas near to the athletics stadium and close to the beach.

There is a choice of single, twin and triple rooms all with air-conditioning and satellite TV. WiFi is available for an extra charge.

The Zentral Center Hotel has an outdoor rooftop pool, sauna and gym. There is also an elegant restaurant and a bar and spacious lounge areas.

The Los Cristianos swimming facility is approximately 1.5 km away from the hotel which is around 15 -20 minutes walk.

Catalonia Oro Negro

500m from resort centre. 20 mins walk to training facility.

The Catalonia Oro Negro Hotel is located in a quiet area 500 metres from centre of Playa de Las Americas.

The hotel offers 269 rooms with a choice of single, twin or triple occupancy. All rooms have air conditioning, direct dial telephone and satellite TV.

The hotel has two swimming pools, a garden, large terrace and mini golf. There is also a regular entertainment programme during the day and night.

Nearby there are two water parks – the world famous Siam Water Park and Aqualand which will keep everyone happy on their day off from training!

The Los Cristianos swimming facility is approximately 1.5 km away from the hotel which is around 15 -20 minutes walk.

Aguamar Apartments

5 minutes walk to the sport centre.

The Aguamar is a modern apartment complex located in Los Cristianos just 900m from the beach and 5 minutes walk from the town’s municipal swimming facility.

There are 140 apartments, all of which have either a garden or swimming pool view. They comprise of one or two bedrooms with a sitting room, bathroom, kitchenette and terrace.

The hotel restaurant serves buffet style cuisine at both breakfast and dinner, whilst guests can also visit the cafeteria and bar for a light snack and refreshments during lunch. Alternatively, there are plenty of restaurants and snack bars in the near vicinity.

The is also a large swimming pool, sun terrace, adventure park & mini golf course to keep everyone entertained.
