We organise swimming training camps at the Playitas Resort located in the picturesque fishing village of Las Playitas.

Las Playitas is just 4km from Gran Tarajal on the south-western coast of the island. Transfers from the airport take approximately 40 minutes.

Overlooking the ocean and with a mountain backdrop, this relaxed, sports-themed resort is just a minute’s walk from the beach and all amenities are on-site.

The 50m outdoor pool is heated with 8 lanes an underwater viewing gallery and a huge gym.

With sunshine all year round and everything located within walking distance, the Playitas resort provides a great environment for warm weather training.

Visiting sports teams will have a choice to stay at the 4* Playitas Resort Hotel or the 4* Playitas Aparthotel which are located within the resort complex at opposite sides of the beach.

There are a number of room types to choose from including single and twin rooms, apartments (max 4 people) and studios (max 3 people).  All rooms have air-conditioning and satellite TV, free WiFi, free safety deposit boxes.

Both the hotel and aparthotel have their own large heated pools, bar areas and sunbathing terraces.  Along with their buffet restaurants, the resort also offers separate Spanish and Italian themed options.

Standard Meal Times:

  • Breakfast : 0730 – 1030
  • Lunch: 1300 – 1500
  • Dinner: 1845 – 2115

Other amenities include a golf course, supermarket, bike hire, tennis courts and a multipurpose indoor sports centre. There are also regular daily fitness classes available for all guests.
